3. Show commendation for one another

III. The Priority of Love (John 13:34-35)

Five specific family connections:

1. Love is the mandate repeated throughout the NT

2. Love is the means through which families serve one another. (Galatians 5:13)

3. Love is the motivation for sacrificing for Christian brothers. (1 John 3:14-17)

4. Love is the method for confronting sin in a brother’s life. (1 Corinthians 13 w/Matthew 18:15)

5. Love is the movement that all Christians can excel more in. (1 Thessalonians 4:9-10)
