God in His Word has established that men are to be the leaders of their homes (Eph. 5:22-33; 1 Tim. 3:2, 4-5, 8, 12) and the leaders in their churches (Tit. 1; 1 Tim. 3). The Men’s Ministry of Faith Bible Church is designed to uphold these principles. We want to equip our men to fulfill God’s will for their lives. Our desire is that the men would lead their wives and children with Christ-like love and confidence through God’s Word, and that their lives would have immeasurable impact on the kingdom of God.  The desire of our Men’s Ministry is to give ourselves away (Luke 9:23; 1 Thes. 2:8) in discipleship (2 Tim. 2:2) and evangelism (Matt. 28:19-20). Striving to be faithful to these commitments, we have developed the following ministries:

Men’s Breakfasts:
These breakfasts are designed to gather men around a good meal to be challenged with God’s Word. The messages are geared to address men in areas of life that all men need encouragement and strengthening in. The breakfasts occur quarterly on the first Sunday of that month. Please see the church calendar or call the church office for details.

Location:  Fellowship Hall

Time:  8:30am – 10:00am

Men’s Accountability:
Men need other men in their lives to admonish them, encourage them, help them and pray for them and these groups are designed to assist them in this type of discipleship relationship. We strive to keep the groups less then 10 men and usually read a quality Christian book or study the Bible together.

We currently have two groups.

Wednesday Night Group

Location: Faith Bible Church – Room #4

Time: 8:15pm – 9:15pm

Thursday Morning Group

Location: The Benrogez’s Home (Call the church office for directions.)

Time: 9:00am – 10:30am

Retreats:
Our retreats are designed to facilitate an opportunity for the men to put aside the busyness of the day-to-day and to gather with their brothers in Christ for a time around God’s Word, prayer, and fellowship.

Dates & Location: The dates will vary from year to year and the location will vary between off-campus and on-campus retreats. Information on these retreats is provided at the various men’s gatherings and in the weekly bulletins.
