Our Senior Pastor
Being oriented toward both playing sports and working on cars, George played baseball until late into high school when his love for surfing brought an end to his ball playing career. Never imagining that he would be called into ministry, he pursued courses in auto mechanics in hopes of becoming an auto technician. It was during these years that he was asked to begin working with youth at Grace Church and he quickly came face to face with two inescapable realities: one, that he was not cutting it as a mechanic and two, he loved spending time with youth teaching them the Bible. With this newly found direction for his life, he soon headed up to Oregon to attend Multnomah School of the Bible (Multnomah Bible College).
While at Multnomah, George married his wife Priscilla in 1989 and graduated from Multnomah in 1993 with his B.S. in Biblical Education. After working as a youth pastor for nearly five years in Hillsboro, OR, George sensed God’s calling to continue his formal education and in 1997 began attending The Master’s Seminary in Sunland, CA. After the birth of his fifth child (2001) and graduating from seminary in 2002, God called George to the head pastorate of Faith Bible Church in Northridge, CA where he has served in that capacity since September, 2002. George continues to enjoy an active life with Priscilla and his five children (David, Hannah, Jeremiah, Elizabeth and Ezra) as he seeks to bring others to Christ and grow in their relationship with Him.
