Action Step #1 Confirm that the sin is taking place vv. 1-2

Action Step #2 Commence the discipline process vv. 3-5

Can you identify the violation of scripture ?
Are more mature Christians convinced the action taking place is sin ?
Is the sinner irrationally defensive when approached about the sin ?

Action Step #3 Correct wrong perceptions of the sin taking place vv. 6-8

Are we prepared to do our part?
Why do we allow sin to continue ?

The fear of man!
We have a low view of Gods’ holiness!
We have a low view of sins destructiveness?

Accept – responsibility for sin
Confess – sin to God
Turn – away from sin

Mind your Peas and Qs
Pray for courage, grace, patience, wisdom and understanding.
Examine yourself for the same sin, take log out of your own eye.
Avail yourself to help the person.
Study the scripture.
Question the person so you can have a right understanding of the situation.
